Why I made Unattended Crew
I run my own work with a crew of AI agents. I give it the idea and the decisions. It does the research, the writing, the design and the building.
The crew runs on Firstmate, the free, open-source supervisor Kun Chen built on top of Claude Code. Firstmate is Kun Chen's work, not mine. What I add is how I set it up and run it every day: the server, the cost routing, the skills I wrote for my own writing and email, and the rules that keep my money and my name in my hands.
My crew has five standing roles. Zach handles bookings, Amy does outreach, Andrew researches, Daniel plans with me and Charles takes the first calls. They're agents, so think of the names as job titles.
This course is the best proof I have. The crew researched the market for it, wrote the lessons, designed these pages and built the site. I chose the name and the price, answered every question it sent me and bought the domain myself. Blueprint 1 has the whole day, task by task.
The free course stops at a working setup, because everyone should get that far for free. Full access is the rest of how I do it.
What I will not tell you
- That this will make you money. The crew does real work. What that work earns depends on your idea and your market.
- That agents can run a business with no one in charge. Someone has to decide, and that is you.
- That this is the official Firstmate course. It is an independent guide.
